Actarit

Actarit is reported to be a disease-modifying antirheumatic drug. It has been given in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis in a usual oral dose of 100 mg three times daily.

Adverse effects
A photosensitivity reaction developed in a 52-year-old woman one month after starting actarit and doxycycline. Photopatch tests for both drugs were only positive for the patches containing actarit.
